2nd Year Parent Teacher Meeting - 20th February 2024

The 2nd Year Parent Teacher Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 20th February (16.00 – 18.30). We are looking forward to meeting you on Microsoft Teams to discuss your child's progress this year as we reach the mid-point of the Junior Cycle programme.

This Parent Teacher Meeting will be held online using the Microsoft Teams platform and your child's email address(VSware account username plus and passsword) - please make sure you have downloaded Teams on whichever device you will be attending on and have logged in with your child's email address and password in advance of the meeting.

The teacher appointments were sent home Friday 9th February and are also available to view online at the following location:

When you visit the Parent Teacher Meeting Scheduler you should:

  • Enter your unique Student ID: Sent home with students on 31st January

Each meeting will last 5 minutes.

This is a short period of time and we ask you to familiarise yourself with our Staff-Parent-Student Communication Guidelines available on our website under the Policies Tab. If you require a discussion about a serious or personal matter, a parent teacher meeting is not a suitable forum for this and we advise you to make a separate appointment for this matter.

Your sincerely,

Niamh Gallagher (Year Head) & Stephen Brett (Deputy Principal)

A Christmas Message from your Year Head

Well done on completing your November assessments. Remember, they are progress exams so use them to support your learning and follow the advice given from your teachers in your school reports. All school reports are now on Vsware.

It was great to see so many of you get involved in extra-curricular events this term. Whether it was sport, music or the school leadership roles that you have taken on, well done and keep it going.

A massive thank you to your tutors, Ms A Quirke, Ms Kenny, Ms Hackett, Ms Feeney, Mr Spillane, Mr Clancy and Mr Branagan. Also, Ms McManus our Guidance Counsellor and Mr Brett our link Deputy Principal. Your support and guidance to our 2nd year students and me is invaluable. Thank you.

I would like to wish you all the very best this Christmas holiday time. Enjoy spending time with your family and friends and go easy on those selection boxes!!

Happy Christmas.

Ms Gallagher
